About Me
I think I’m a writer because I read books as a child faster than they could be printed. There was a shortage of books in the 80’s – you may have heard about it – and it was my fault. So I decided to chip in, like the paper manufacturers who plant a tree for each one they cut down. I’m here to show you pieces of my first novel, a story about Africa, drinking and the meaning of life. And once in a while, I’ll talk about what it’s like to be a writer right before the world finds out you are one.

Matt, good luck!
Hey Matt, maybe you should turn your first novel into a trashy historical fiction story until you get over your nerves. These seem to be easy to write and get published! Then once this becomes a romance writers award winner, and you’ve conquered your fear, you can write some real literature. This method seems to work for lots of novelists! And I’ll buy the book…I LOVE trashy historical fiction. Melanie
Hi Matt,
I’m contacting you through comments because I couldn’t find a way to contact you through email. I like what you are doing here, and I am wondering if I could write a brief interview piece about you for my site http://www.awayandaway.com. In the interview, I will link back to your site, and feature a brief description of your story. The interview will just be roughly 5 questions through email.
What do you say?
Cody
Hi Cody – I sent you an email earlier today, but in case you didn’t get it, you can contact me using the new form on the About Me page. Thanks!
